Hi, I’m Melissa Bykofsky—an experienced content strategist, writer, editor, and brand developer in New York City. I specialize in producing engaging service and human interest content for women across milestone moments in their lives.
I’m currently the Executive Editor, Trends & Features at Parents.com, where my team’s work has been honored by Folio and nominated for a Webby award. I am also an instructor of journalism at SUNY Binghamton University. I have previously held editorial roles at Woman’s Day, Redbook, and Marie Claire magazines and had my writing published by Teen Vogue, Cosmopolitan, and Good Housekeeping, among others.
I earned my Master’s degree in journalism from the City University of New York Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism. I graduated from Binghamton University where I was the editor-in-chief of the student newspaper Pipe Dream and a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Delta Tau.
